The World Is A Lie: Archimedes Speaks
The World Is A Lie.
Archimedes Part 1: Archimedes Speaks.
When we started devising the idea for The Slaughtered Bird back in late 2013, myself & The Blue Took thought long and hard on what we wanted the website to represent. Of course we wanted to network with famous filmmakers and directors if possible, but one of the main rules was to liaise with up & coming filmmakers, directors, artists, the next generation. We wanted to help promote and give them not only a window to showcase their work, but also a voice.
After almost 3 years of blood, sweat & tears working on this project, we can now safely say we’ve exceeded all expectations. We have overcome the early hiccups that arise with every new project. We have dismissed the lazy contributors, we have ignored the tantrums and we have learned from attending amateurish conventions! We have built not only a website, but a brand. We have assembled a multi-talented team of writers and contributors who are hardworking, dedicated, passionate and highly professional. We have sponsored some of the country’s best horror festivals. We have met and interviewed some of the icons of the genre from Lucky McGee, Tom Savini, Bill Moseley, and Gunnar Hansen to Ken Foree. We have hung out with Marvel Comics Legends and Hellraiser Cenobites to new talented directors like Liam Regan, oh and sat and had morning coffee with Jesse McClure!
We are currently collaborating with comic artists to bring our Slaughtered stories to life and delve into the comic book industry and our New Podcast ‘Head in the Box’ is being prepped as we speak.
Currently part of our next phase under The Slaughtered Bird umbrella is possibly our biggest challenge yet. We are about to embark on our first film ‘BURN’ which shoots end of Feb 2016 in Hertfordshire. To say were excited is an understatement and shows how far we have come in such a short space of time.
Looking back on our career so far it’s fair to say we should be very proud of ourselves. All the things we’ve done, all the people we’ve met, it’s some achievement by two cousins from Liverpool, but no matter how many famous people we’ve chatted to or met or if were planning comic books or films, our main objective remains; We want to stay true to our roots. We want to promote up & coming talent. We want to give a voice to Local Talent, well known or not!
All my life I’ve been fascinated with conspiracy theories and ancient astronaut theory, so just recently I was introduced by a good friend of mine to a gentleman who goes by the name of Archimedes. He’s a self -confessed Conspiracy Theorist who has dedicated his life in researching and studying many topics and government cover-ups, he’s a sort of cross between Edward Snowden & Fox Mulder. Archimedes is very much a loner and lives on the outskirts of society. His views can often be mocked and his opinions shunned, but during the two occasions we met I was fascinated with his wealth of knowledge and was flattered that he agreed to meet and be interviewed.
The interview you are about to hear is Archimedes just chatting informally about various topics. Although the interview begins with his opinion on the Cancer Cure cover-up, please be aware that he does jump from theory to theory and is very fast paced. Obviously these opinions and theories are solely his own, so granted they can be controversial at times, but are not intended to offend.
We certainly hope this may be the first of many interviews with Archimedes and hope you’re as intrigued with his theories and knowledge as we were.

Star of one of our most popular TV soaps, Emmerdale, Dominic Brunt is known in every household here in the UK. On top of this, he's also forging quite a reputation as one of the best indie horror filmmakers in Britain - his directorial debut feature, Before Dawn, was very well received upon its release in 2013 and more recently his second feature, Bait, has accumulated plenty of critical acclaim worldwide.

I Remember Archimedes showing me this time lapse video of every nuclear explosion since 1945.
There are over 2000 of them! I don’t know if everyone has seen this already but if not it’s worth a watch?
I also hate the sound of my own voice as a foot note, as Folklore put it Looks like a big nutcase sounds like David Beckham. FML!
