“Scratchy” Pete Ellott
A Horror Aficionado from NZ with over 35 plus years’ experience in both Horror and Underground Horror. He has been around for the premieres of many of the movies we love from the 70’s and 80’s and beyond, along with the birth of Indie Horror.
Having snuck a sneaky watch of such classics as The Tell-Tale Heart and Whatever Happened To Baby Jane on the old black and white TV set at around 6 or 7 years of age, Pete was captured…
Never to be released.

A reviewer for just as many years, he contributes freelance and also reviews regularly for a number of Websites, Facebook groups, Magazines and most recently for Monster Pictures, as well as in his own country of New Zealand. An overseas TV spot is in the process of finalisation that will discuss Indie Horror on a regular basis. He has an upcoming role in a documentary on Indie Film Making.
Pete worked for many years in the Mental Health/Psychology/Prison fields, so “Scratchy” can often prove insightful when delving a little deeper into what is being shown.
