CREATORS UNITE – a brand new digital magazine – is the brain-child of @DC_Deever. DC has gathered together the most talented bunch of individuals with the intention of celebrating and promoting the ideas which may normally get overlooked in a world dominated by budgets, status, and location.
The wonderful CU crew includes writers, filmmakers, and artists (I’m scared to list ’em in case I miss anyone out!), which will ensure each issue is a slick, chic affair, brimming with the things you beautifully horrid peeps will want to read about and get involved in.

Slaughtered Bird Films’ horror short film, BURN, nabs festival awards!
We don’t like to blow our own trumpets here at The Slaughtered Bird but, y’know, FUCK IT – we’re damn proud of our debut film production, BURN, created in collaboration with Dragon Egg Media!
Since post-production finished last year, our 15-minute short has received numerous excellent reviews, been busy finding its feet on the festival circuit and gratefully receiving many Official Selection laurels from around the world, and now it’s picked up its first award… or three!

Over the last few months work commitments and other circumstances have meant there's less and less time to spend updating everything.

The Slaughtered Bird is delighted to announce a feature we're lucky enough to have been involved with has finally wrapped, blazed through post production, and is currently looking for reviews!
The talented folks over at Fame Cinema have created the brilliant WEIRD FICTION - an anthology consisting of 4 segments, all heavily influenced by your favourite horror compilations, such as Tales from the Crypt and Body Bags, and captures that retro, gritty VHS style that many bigger budgeted features fail to achieve.

His new film Don't Follow the Light today steps into the preproduction phase and will be filmed in and around the Derbyshire countryside in the summer of 2018.
