The Slayers
Help make ‘The Slayers’ a reality.
Okay horror fiends, our good friend John Williams has a crowd-funding campaign currently running to help fund his second full feature ‘The Slayers’.
This guy is a true horror fan basically making films for the love of the genre and for fans like us, so you need to get your arses over and make a contribution. It doesn’t matter how much you donate as every penny will be spent wisely and help keep the flag flying high for indie-film. John is an extremely talented filmmaker and his last feature ‘The Mothertown’ is becoming an underground cult hit. John didn’t make a single dime from the feature as all proceeds went to charity, which shows you how cool this dude is.

‘The Slayers’ follows two former end of the world cult members, Nigel and Job, who have a change of heart during a group suicide pact and decide to live (what they believe to be) the last 2 weeks on earth. So, after creating a bucket list, buying a motorhome and insulting every family member in the phone book, they head off to the highlands to live the adventure. Before long they begin to meet strange characters who claim to be vampire slayers and manage to persuade the boys to join them in a fight against all ranks of vampire. This film will turn the modern vampire culture on it’s head.
Already amazing things are beginning to happen, with some stunning locations already secured and also a top talented film crew.
Involved is special effects master Stuart Conran, the man behind the effects on films such as ‘Hellraiser’, ‘The Decent 1 & 2′, ‘Shaun Of The Dead’, ‘Cockneys Vs Zombies’, ‘Eden Lake’, ‘Attack The Block’, ‘Waxwork’, ‘Alexander’, ‘From Hell’ and much more. Also special visual effects artist Paul Knott, who has worked on ‘Sharknado 1,2 and 3′ and much more.
‘The Slayers’ is a vampire tale, but obviously expect John’s quirky, mad-cap style that blends 70’s & 80’s style horror with comedy. John is scouting locations at present and if he reaches his target something epic is on the agenda, so I urge you to support indie-film and help this extremely talented guy realise his vision. Please follow the links and support and do what you can.
