Cathedrals will fall, the river will run red... and THE BIRD will be SLAUGHTERED!

Flying Squirrel Productions need your help with Beware of the Dog: A Werewolf Story

A message from Flying Squirrels Productions:

We are an independent film company that aims to create original and entertaining shorts and features. Previously Infinity Films, the team is already celebrating success with the release of our international hit, Zombies Have Fallen. Released through American film distribution company, Green Apple Entertainment, the film is currently available on Amazon Prime, and now on DVD in the US.

With a focus on commercially viable and character driven stories, Flying Squirrels aims to distinguish itself as a major contributor to the future of entertainment.

Set against the ominous beauty of the Lake District, Beware of the Dog: A Werewolf Story is a short, approx. 10 mins horror film. A widower, seeking the expertise of a local hunter, looks to avenge the aberrant and fatal mauling of his wife.

A tribute to classic ‘monster’ B movies of previous years, our aim is to make a film that celebrates their grotesquely imaginative carnage, and reinvents the macabre material for an ever-knowing audience.

“Horror is always the same. It changes with the culture and changes with technology. The stories are always the same. There are just two basic stories in horror, two simple ones: evil is outside and evil is in here.”
– John Carpenter

Although our central goal is making the film, we also want to ensure it is seen by as many people as possible upon completion.

INTERVIEW: David Naughton

David Naughton should need no introduction to horror fans. Back in 1981, An American Werewolf In London had unprepared cinema goers laughing heartily one second and jumping out of their seats in terror the next. Its tale of two young American tourists coming face-to-teeth with a legendary lycanthropic beast perfectly married a genuinely funny script with razor sharp editing, groundbreaking special effects and a flawless cast to create a monster movie that is still many people’s benchmark today Read on...
